One year, The Lady and Man decided to take a trip out to Yellowstone to show the rest of us bears how other bears live in the wild and to enjoy the beauty of Yellowstone. We had so much fun talking to these bears and could understand why Roots Bear liked to live the way he did. We also met two park rangers that worked at Yellowstone and I think I want to be like them when I grow up. They take care of the parks and the people that vacation there. They also sit in high towers to watch out for any possible fires that may start so they can warn people and help put out the fires.

We helped out the park rangers during that vacation and talked to people and to the animals on how to be safe. It's terrible when there is a fire because it destroys so much of the forest and many animals sometimes get caught in the fires. So, I hope everyone thinks hard and makes sure that all fires they start are put out properly so that no one gets hurt from a foolish mistake.

Anyway, now I've decided I would like to be a Veterinarian and a Park Ranger so that I can take care of any sick animals in the park I will be assigned to when I grow up.

We also help Dudley, Dooley, and Sparky, three policemen in our local area. Dudley loves doughnuts, so we gave him a doughnut maker one year. Now Dudley makes doughnuts for everyone and he's really come up with some really yummy ones - like nuts and berries inside and out for us bears.

All of us bears split up between the three officers and go out with them to watch traffic and catch speeders on the freeway. We set up at the rest areas with coffee and doughnuts for the weary travelers during the holidays. We give them information on how to drive safely too. We always encourage people to take it easy on the roads - especially during the hectic holiday seasons - to keep themselves and their families safe. Sometimes there are bad accidents along the road and we are there to help keep the children from getting too scared and we hand out little bears for them to hold onto.

I believe we should all help each other in our daily lives and look for things we can do to make this world a better place for all of us - people and animals.
